Fragile Earth - Works on paper, 2005 A series of small paintings, gouache on paper, all approximately 5 x 9cm. On a visit to the Island of Symi, Greece, These paintings were made by carefully studying the colours of landscape and buildings. I worked with the dominant colours, simplifying the shapes, deliberately abstracting and simplifying what I saw. This page shows just a few images from the works on paper series, Symi, 2005
