Workshops
I have devised this series of art workshops under
the title Art&Ecology.
It's a great opportunity to encourage students
to:
• produce individual artwork where everyone produces something exciting,
each student CAN draw and paint, nothing is WRONG.
• engage in their immediate environment from an ecological perspective
- encourage them to appreciate their own environment.
• experience a variety of techniques and new learning skills.
• meet and work with new people.

WORKSHOP
Description:
This series of workshops is based on the environment to encourage students
to become more aware of their surroundings. A set of appropriate still
lives are set up, or we go outside to draw.
These workshops teach students to draw with confidence and then produce
paintings, collages and a 3D sculpture based on their drawings.
Workshops are split in to 4:
Workshop 1)
Yes you can draw.
A positive workshop that will prove to all students that YES they can
draw. Three still lives based on the environment start the process, or
if appropriate we go outside. Using techniques to loosen up, then a final
drawing.
Workshop 2)
Turn their drawings in to paintings.
Students create paintings based on their initial drawings.
Workshop 3)
Turn their paintings in to collage.
Students will abstract their paintings and use collage to create a piece
of new artwork.
Workshop 4)
Turn their collage in to sculpture.
Students will extend their collages in to 3D work.
Optional Workshop 5)
Turn their work in to a digital image using Photoshop.
